Terms and conditions regarding your plugin and support services order

Licensing

Purchasing a plugin gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install the plugin on the number of websites indicated in the license.

Annual licenses are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and, depending on the payment method, renewal is either automatic or manual. For manual renewals, you will get information by email on how to proceed.

You can cancel your subscription at any time in your customer area. You’ll have access to updates and technical support until the end of the already paid period, but no renewal will be processed after the expiration date.

A lifetime license is valid indefinitely and requires no renewals. You’ll get updates and technical support while the plugin is actively supported, as long as the plugin is owned by Naked Cat Plugins and the company behind it, Webdados, is still in business.

You need a valid, active license to receive plugin updates and technical support. Some specific features, depending on each plugin, might be disabled if the license is not renewed (check the FAQ for each plugin).

We reserve the right to revoke any license not used in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Whenever a license expires, we might contact the buyer, as well as any contacts listed on the website where the plugin is activated, to inform them of the expiration and how to reactivate it.

Refunds

If you discover an issue (related to an advertised feature) within 7 days of buying a plugin and our support cannot resolve it, you can request a refund.

Refunds will be issued at our discretion (not due to a change in the scope of your project, expectations regarding non-advertised features, 3rd-party software incompatibility, or custom development).

The payment gateway commission costs will be deducted from refunds (unless they’re related to a non-working advertised feature).

We will not issue refunds for automatic renewals processed via PayPal, Stripe (credit card), or any other payment method. You can manage your subscription renewal settings and cancel them in your account before renewal.

The EU guarantee to return any good or service within 14 days does not apply if the software is downloaded, as it will be considered examined or used. Because the software link is provided via email immediately after the payment, we will assume it has been downloaded. That being said, we will still apply the 7-day refund policy in most situations.

Technical support

We’ll do everything in our power to help you use our plugins, including fixing any bugs, but we do not provide support and can not be held responsible for, and not limited to:

  • Compatibility with 3rd party plugins or themes;
  • Usage of so-called “optimizers” like “Plugin Organizer” and/or other solutions that interfere with the regular loading of WordPress, plugins, and themes.
  • Non-advertised or experimental features;
  • Usage of developer hooks (including the ones on our plugins);
  • Any custom code or customizations (in place or to be developed);
  • Legacy WordPress, 3rd party plugins or themes, PHP, and any other software versions;
  • Server limitations, misconfiguration, or performance issues;
  • Financial loss or legal issues due to bugs;
  • InvoiceXpress specific exemptions:
    • Fiscal or legal advice (you need to contact your accountant);
    • Fiscal or legal changes (for example, the e-commerce VAT rules in the EU);
    • Elaborate tax configurations (including B2B VAT exemptions and distance sales VAT in Europe);
    • WooCommerce-specific tax configurations;
    • Changes on the InvoiceXpress account, domain, or any other changes that require a plugin reconfiguration;

When buying any plugin, you may request the optional “Remote initial setup” via AnyDesk.

Support must be requested using the form available next to your original order or in your account, not by direct email or phone. We will call if we consider it necessary, but if you request phone, email, or remote access support yourself, there will be a cost. You can buy support hours here.

We do our best to reply to all support requests within two (2) business days, from 9 AM to 5 PM (Lisbon time), but it might not be possible. We do take weekends and holidays occasionally 😉

Remote initial setup

When buying a plugin, you can add a “remote initial setup” service, which includes a personalized call and an AnyDesk remote session to set up the plugin. This call has a time limit of 30 minutes, and the correct technical conditions are required, such as, but not limited to: a performant and fully updated (including themes and plugins) website, API credentials for plugins that require them. If the technical conditions are not met, this call can be rescheduled once. Subsequent calls will be charged. We offer no refunds if the technical requirements are not met.

Domain change

The license is usually not transferable, but if you activated it on a development/staging domain and need to move it to a production domain, you can request a change, but you need to remove the license key from the current development website first, on the plugin settings screen.

We reserve the right to deny the domain change if there are multiple requests for the same key or for any other reason that indicates incorrect or suspicious use of the license.

To use the same license on a development/staging and a production website simultaneously, we recommend you buy a “Dual” license.

For some special URL patterns and TLDs (for example: dev.domain, localhost, domain.local, …), you can deactivate the license directly on your account, and then activate it again on another website.

Warranty

Our plugins are guaranteed to function on a new WordPress and WooCommerce installation, whether using a default theme or the Storefront theme. This ceases when the subscription expires. We cannot guarantee they will function with third-party plugins, themes, or custom development.

The plugins are provided “as-is” without any warranty.

The plugins are owned by Naked Cat Plugins / Webdados, and by purchasing a license, you do not acquire any intellectual property or ownership rights.

Liability

Buying and using any of our plugins does not constitute any obligation on our end to comply with any legal or financial regulation that you’re obliged to meet. In particular, you remain completely and solely liable for your compliance with all tax laws and regulations at all times, including research into what you must comply with. Installing any version of our plugins does not absolve you of any legal liabilities or transfer any liabilities of any kind to us, and we provide no guarantee that their use will cover everything your store needs to do.

Pricing

We reserve the right to change the price at any time without prior notice or consent. Active subscriptions will not be affected by price changes, but if the subscription is cancelled, a new subscription will be charged at the current price.

Terms and conditions regarding your merch order

Returns and refunds

Under EU law, you are entitled to return the merchandise purchased within the first 14 days after purchase and receive a refund, as long as the merchandise was not used, and the customer pays the return costs. We are not a merch company.; The merch we sell is related to our plugins business, so we urge you not to order merch unless you really want to keep it.

Shipping

Shipping costs will be calculated on checkout, and are as of 20 May 2025:

  • Mainland Portugal: 5.00 €
  • Portuguese Islands: 7.00 €
  • Mainland Spain: 8.00 €
  • Spain Baleares, Canarias, Ceuta, and Melila: 15.00 €
  • Mainland Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, and Slovakia: 19.00 €
  • Mainland Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, and Slovenia: 21.00 €
  • Mainland Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Romania, and Sweden: 29.00 €

We don’t offer shipping to other addresses, but you can still order and pick up at our headquarters in Seixal or at the monthly Lisboa WordPress Meetup in Portugal (if you’re traveling here).

All prices are flat rate per merch order, are exclusive of VAT, and any extra costs eventually charged on delivery by customs or other entities are the customer’s responsibility. All shipping is insured.
